By using the Fabulery application ("the App") you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Description of the Service
Fabulery is an educational service for learning foreign languages through Aesop's fables. The service is offered both as a mobile app and through the fabulery.com website, which also hosts playable content.
The service mainly includes: interactive story reading and karaoke mode, the FabuWords word puzzle, Lessons and Exercises, Daily Puzzle, TilkoLand, Quests, the collection/sticker system, Feather League rankings and the friends system. Features may change over time.
2. Age Requirement
This service is intended for users aged 13 and over. If you are under 13, please do not use the App. The App includes features — such as league rankings and the friends system — where your display name is shown to other users (for details see the Privacy Policy, Section 2). We recommend that children use the service only under parental supervision.
3. Account Creation
- You can sign in to the App with a Google account, with email/password, or as a guest (anonymous).
- Guest accounts are tied to your device; if device data is wiped or you change devices, guest progress may be lost. To protect your progress, we recommend linking your account to Google or an email address.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information.
- You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
- You are responsible for all activity carried out with your account.
4. Rules of Use
When using the App you must follow these rules:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes.
- Do not attempt to disrupt or interfere with the normal operation of the App.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts.
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
- Do not copy, distribute or commercially exploit content from the App without permission.
- Your display name is shown to other users; do not use names that are abusive, obscene, hateful, or that impersonate someone else. We reserve the right to change such names without notice or to suspend the account.
- You are responsible for text you submit, such as translation feedback; we may use this content to improve the service.
5. Intellectual Property
All content in the App — stories, images, audio files, translations, software code, designs and trademarks — is owned by or licensed to Fabulery. This content is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
- Aesop's fables are in the public domain, but the adaptations, translations and arrangements in the App are subject to copyright.
- Images, audio and other media assets may not be used without permission.
6. Free Use and Virtual Items
Fabulery is currently entirely free and there are no real-money purchases. All transactions in the in-app shop are made with in-game virtual currency (gold/gems) only. If paid features or subscriptions are added in future, users will be informed in advance.
- Virtual items in the App (gold, gems, feathers, hints, axes etc.) have no real-world monetary value; they cannot be exchanged for real money, transferred or sold.
- Virtual items are provided under a limited, revocable licence for use inside the App only; when your account is deleted, your virtual items are permanently deleted as well and no refund is given.
- We reserve the right to adjust the amounts of virtual items, rewards and user balances for game-balancing purposes.
7. Content Updates
We reserve the right to update, add or remove App content (stories, exercises, word databases etc.) without prior notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
- The App is provided "as is", without any warranty.
- We are not liable for damages arising from technical problems, data loss or service interruptions.
- The App is not a substitute for professional language education; it should be used as a supporting tool only.
9. Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without prior warning.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When significant changes are made, we will notify you inside the app. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Turkish courts have jurisdiction over any disputes.
