Zeus and the Fox
Long ago lived great Zeus and a clever fox. Zeus thought the fox was smart and cunning. So he made him king of all the animals. The fox wore fine clothes and took his throne.
But Zeus wondered about the old habits of the fox. One day Zeus dropped a small beetle before him. The beetle flew right in front of the fox. The fox forgot his kingdom and his crown. He jumped from the throne and ran after it.
Zeus saw this and became very sad. The fox did not change his true nature. Zeus took the crown and made him a fox again. The fox was sorry, but it was too late. Clothes change, but a true nature does not. A leopard cannot change its spots.
