The Wolf and the Fat Dog
A wolf emaciated with hunger met a fat and well-groomed house dog with brilliant fur on the road. Envying the dog looking so well-fed and happy, the wolf asked "How do you manage to remain so fat and healthy?" The dog said "I guard my master's door, he gives me delicious meats, come with me too and be comfortable." While walking together, the wolf noticed the fur-stripped collar mark on the dog's neck and asked "What is this mark on your neck?"
When the dog said "They tie me to a chain during daytime, this mark on my neck is from that," the wolf stopped and said "I stay hungry but I won't sell my freedom to a chain" and fled to the forest. Those who sell their freedom for the sake of comfort and abundance become slaves of invisible chains. Living free and independent is a thousand times more valuable than feasting in a golden cage and under chains. Being able to make one's own decisions and being free is the greatest wealth.
Freedom is the greatest blessing, it cannot be sold with slavery. A golden cage does not give freedom. Staying hungry is better than being a slave. Abundance under chains is worthless.
One living free is rich. Freedom is not sacrificed for comfort. Independence is the greatest treasure.
