The Two Traitors
Once upon a time, at the edge of an ancient forest where cool waters flowed, there was a peaceful town. In this town, everyone trusted each other and led a happy life in friendship and solidarity. However, two friends named Sinan and Murat living in the town were not honest at all. Instead of working, they loved making treacherous plans to get rich quick. They secretly made a deal to steal the gold-filled box of the old and generous merchant.
One night when darkness fell, the two treacherous men quietly snuck into the merchant's big mansion. Reaching the secret room, they embraced the heavy gold chest and quickly fled toward the forest. When they reached the depths of the forest, their greedy hearts began to fill with suspicion toward each other. Sinan thought to himself, "Why should I share this gold with Murat?" At the same time, Murat said, "If it were not for Sinan, the entire treasure would be mine alone." Sinan said to his friend, "You wait for the gold, I will go get us something to eat."
Returning to the town, he planned to secretly put a strong poison inside the bread. Murat, on the other hand, made up his mind to attack his friend from behind as soon as he returned. When Sinan returned with poisoned food in hand, Murat made a quick move and knocked his friend down. Thinking he had won the victory, Murat happily ate the poisoned bread with great appetite. Shortly after, under the effect of the poison, he also lost consciousness in the deep forest. When morning came, the townsfolk saw the gold chest and the bitter end of the two traitors.
