The Two Neighbor Frogs
Once there were two neighbor frogs. The green frog lived in a deep, safe lake. The yellow frog sat in a small road puddle. He loved his home but worried about his friend.
One day the green frog went to his friend. He said, "This place is dangerous, carts pass here." "Come to my lake, you are safe there," he said. But the yellow frog said no. "I like my place, I never leave here," he said.
A few days later a big cart came. The frog could not escape, and the cart crushed him. The green frog was very sad. He thought, "My friend did not listen to me."
A dangerous habit brings a bad end. One misfortune teaches more than many warnings.
