The Travelers and the Bear

Two close friends walk through a big dark forest. The sun goes down and the travelers get very tired. They promise to help each other always. Suddenly they hear a loud noise near them.

A huge bear comes out of the trees. One friend quickly climbs a tree and hides. The other friend cannot climb and stays alone. The man lies down and holds his breath.

Bears do not touch dead people. The bear comes close and smells his ear. The bear thinks he is dead and walks slowly away. The danger passes and the other friend climbs down.

He laughs and asks, "What did the bear say?" The man answers, "The bear says: never trust false friends."

True friends never leave each other in hard times. A friend in need is a friend indeed.
