The Sorceress
Long ago an old woman lived in a small and pretty village. This woman told everyone she was a great sorceress. She sold magic potions and easy answers for money. The people of the village believed she could solve every problem. One day the woman lost her house key and stayed outside.
For hours she said magic words, but the door never opened. Then the rain came suddenly and the woman got very wet. The woman cried and asked the villagers for help. A young man came and opened the door with a simple stick. The villagers saw this and they were very surprised.
She could not open her own door and she could not help people. Everyone was very angry and nobody gave her money again. The old woman felt shame and never fooled anyone again. Solve your own troubles first, and then promise big things to others. In the end, the truth always comes out.
