The Sick Lion, the Wolf and the Fox
Long ago, an old lion lived beside a cool green forest. This lion was the forest king, but one day he fell ill. All the animals came to the dark cave to visit their king. But the clever fox was not there and did not come. The bad wolf saw this and wanted to use the chance. The wolf came near the sick lion and complained about the fox.
"Great king, the fox ignores you and shows you no respect," he said. Just then the fox reached the cave door and heard these words. The fox walked in without fear and bowed before the king. The lion asked angrily, "Why are you so late, fox?" The fox answered, "My lord, I searched the whole forest for medicine." "A great doctor told me one cure for your illness," he added.
The lion shouted, "Tell me quickly, what is my medicine?" The fox said, "You must wrap yourself in a warm wolf skin." The sick lion heard this and jumped on the wolf beside him. The jealous wolf set a trap and fell into his own hole. The wise fox walked calmly out into the deep forest. People who plan evil for others fall into their own traps. The hunter often becomes the hunted.
