The Lion in Love
A strong lion lived in a big green forest. One day the lion saw a beautiful village girl. The lion fell in love at first sight. Her father was a poor woodcutter in the forest. The lion came and wanted to marry the girl.
The woodcutter was afraid, but he made a plan. He said, “Your sharp teeth scare my daughter.” For love, the lion cut his teeth and claws. Now the strong lion had no power at all. The woodcutter saw the harmless lion at once.
He took a big stick and chased the lion. The weak lion ran fast into the forest. At last the lion understood his big mistake. Love without wisdom steals a man’s strength. Regret always comes too late.
