The Lion and the Wolf
A thieving wolf who stole a sheep from a fold headed toward his den to enjoy his prey. On the way, the lion king of the forest suddenly appeared and snatched the sheep in one move. Having lost his sheep, the wolf shouted from afar "Are you not ashamed to forcefully steal my rightful prey?" The lion chuckled mockingly and asked the wolf a instructive question.
"As if you bought this sheep with your own money and I stole it!" said the lion, walking away. The wolf realized that when you lose something acquired unfairly, you have no right to demand justice. Wealth obtained through unfair and dishonest means brings no blessing. Whoever steals another's right has no face to complain about their own.
Unjust gain vanishes unjustly. Stolen goods bring no good. When a thief steals from a thief, no justice is sought. What comes by cruelty leaves by loss.
Ill-gotten gains go an ill way. Easy come, easy go. Ill-gotten gain never prospers.
