The Lion and the Rabbit
One day a hungry lion walked in the forest. The lion saw a sleeping rabbit under a tree. He was happy and came slowly near the rabbit. The rabbit was very sweet and slept quietly. Just then a big deer passed through the forest.
The lion looked and thought the deer was bigger. He left the rabbit and ran after the deer. The deer saw the lion and ran away fast. The lion ran fast but did not catch it. The tired lion went back sadly to the tree.
He looked under the tree for the little rabbit. But the rabbit woke up and ran away. That day the big lion stayed very hungry. A small chance now beats a big dream later. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
