The Lion and the Frog
A strong lion lived in a big green forest. One sunny day the lion rested by the river. Suddenly a very loud and strange sound came.
The lion heard this terrible sound and was surprised. The lion was afraid of a big dangerous monster. The sound rose again and filled the whole forest.
The brave lion walked quietly toward the sound. He looked behind the bushes and searched carefully. But there was no big monster there.
He saw a tiny frog beside the water. That huge sound came from this little frog. The lion laughed a lot and felt calm. He went to the frog and smiled at it.
Do not fear every loud voice. Empty vessels make the most noise.
