The Lion and the Fox
A lion and a cunning fox established a partnership to hunt together. The fox tracked the prey with its sensitive nose and found it, while the lion lay in ambush, caught, and killed the prey. When the hunt ended, the fox stepped forward to demand a share in return for its labor. The lion walked upon the fox roaring and said "Disappear from my sight! Or I will add you to this prey and eat you too."
Those who establish partnerships with cruel and much more powerful people, no matter how much labor they expend, cannot have the right to receive a share. The strong one gathers the booty and disregards the weak partner. Partnerships where power balance is lacking are only exploitation for the weak party. Doing business with non-equal people ends in regret.
In a partnership made with the strong, no share falls to the weak. Partnership with the cruel brings exploitation. No booty remains for the weak partner. One does not do business with a non-equal.
Be partner with your own equal. Partnership of the strong crushes the weak. Labor goes to waste beside the cruel.
