The Lion and the Bear
One summer day a lion met a bear in the forest. The two animals saw fresh meat on the ground. Both of them wanted to eat this tasty meat. Neither wanted to share it, so the fight began. The lion roared loudly and ran at the bear.
The bear lifted its paws and hit the lion. The two animals fought for hours and got tired. In the end both fell and could not move. They breathed hard and only looked at each other. At that moment a clever fox walked past.
The fox saw the meat and the tired animals. Quietly he took the meat and ran quickly away. The lion and the bear could only watch. Useless fights always lead to big losses. While two dogs fight, a third takes the bone.
