The Kingfisher
A beautiful kingfisher with blue wings lives by the sea. Because she fears people she lives on the steep rocks. On the high rocks she feels very safe.
One morning the bird goes to look for food for her chicks. Then pitch black clouds cover the sky. Huge waves like giants rise on the sea.
The violent waves strike the steep rock hard. The tiny nest of the bird sinks into the cool waters. The nest is lost in the foamy waves of the sea.
The mother bird who returns to the nest cries with pain. "Karadaki tehlikeden kaçarken denizde mahvoldum," der. The helpless bird stays alone in the wind.
Whoever runs from the rain is caught by the hail.
