The Hungry Dogs
One day two hungry dogs walked along the river. The dogs were very hungry and wanted food. Suddenly they saw tasty skins on the river bottom. These skins were under the water and very deep.
The dogs made a plan to reach the skins. One said to the other, "Let's drink the water." "Then the water goes away and we take them." The two dogs began to drink right away.
They drank very fast and very much water. The water stayed, but their bellies got very big. At last their bellies burst from too much water. The poor dogs never got the tasty skins. Running after impossible dreams brings only harm. Grasp all, lose all.
