The Horse and the Wild Boar
Long ago, beside an old forest where cool waters flowed, there lived a beautiful horse. Every morning, this horse ran joyfully in green meadows with its glossy coat. Deep in the forest, however, there lived a harsh and huge wild boar. The wild boar constantly muddied the sweet water spring and trampled the green grass. The proud horse was very angry at this and wanted to take revenge on the boar.
One day, the horse saw a strong hunter walking with his bow in hand. Running up to the hunter, he asked for help and explained the situation excitedly. "Help me, let us drive that evil boar away from here together," he said. The clever hunter thought for a moment and accepted the horse's request. "I will help you, but I must ride on your back and put a bit in your mouth," he said. Blinded by anger, the horse immediately accepted this condition.
The hunter mounted the horse's back, and together they drove the wild boar from the forest. Having achieved victory, the horse was very happy and wanted to run freely. Thanking the hunter, he asked him to remove the bit from his mouth. But the hunter smiled and tied the horse tightly to a sturdy tree.
"Now I have seen what a fast and useful animal you are," he said. Because of a little anger, the horse had lost all its freedom to humans. A creature acting out of anger may give up its own freedom for the sake of revenge. Anger hurts the one who harbors it.
