The Governor Wolf and the Donkey
A wolf appointed regional governor by the king lion stood before the people and began making speeches of justice. The wolf said "Now justice will prevail in these lands, everyone will give a part of the prey they catch to the common pool and we will share equally." The donkey stepped forward and asked "Mr. Governor, these beautiful rules are great, but when will you account for the innocent lambs you stole and ate from the fold yesterday?" Faced with this question, the wolf did not know what to say, became embarrassed, and was forced to cancel the fake laws he set.
The claims of justice and fairness by people with injustice and oppression in their past are not convincing before the people. Those who attempt to give moral lessons to others while their own crimes and shames are in the open become disgraced at the first question. The manager who will distribute justice must first have a clean and stainless past. Rules set by stained people do not inspire trust.
Those with a dirty past cannot distribute justice. One who does not see their own stain cannot distribute justice. Fake law disgraces. One giving moral lessons must be clean.
Past oppression is not forgotten. A stained leader does not inspire trust. True justice starts with an honest past.
