The Flies in the Honey
One day sweet honey spilled in a big kitchen. On the table the honey smelled very sweet. The little flies smelled that sweet honey at once. The flies flew happily to the table.
The flies sat on the honey and ate. The honey was tasty and the flies ate more. They ate too much and their bellies got full. But their small feet stuck slowly in the honey.
The flies wanted more honey but could not move. The flies shook their wings but could not escape. The greedy flies were very sorry and they shouted.
The sweet honey became a big trap for them. The flies lost their freedom for a sweet pleasure. Too much wanting and greed hurt people.
