The Farmer and His Dogs
A farmer lived in a small village. He had loyal dogs at home. These dogs never worked. They only played and slept in the garden. The farmer gave them food every day.
One day the dogs were sad. "Our food is too little," they thought. "The hunting dogs eat more meat," they said. "They do not eat our food." The dogs went and complained to the farmer. The farmer listened to their words.
The farmer smiled and looked at them. "The hunting dogs work hard, children," he said. "They find game in the forest." "But you rest all day long." "Good workers deserve more," he said.
A good life needs work.
