The Eagle and the Beetle

One day a hare runs from an eagle. The hare sees a beetle. The hare hides near the beetle. The beetle sees the eagle. The beetle begs the eagle. The beetle says: "Please do not eat the hare!" But the eagle crushes the beetle. The eagle eats the hare happily.

The beetle gets very angry. The beetle goes to the eagle's nest. He throws the eagle's eggs down. The eggs fall to the ground and break. The eagle returns to his nest. He cannot find his eggs. The eagle is very sad.

The eagle goes to Zeus in the sky. The eagle puts his eggs in Zeus's lap. The beetle sees this. The beetle takes a piece of dirt. The beetle throws the dirt onto Zeus. Zeus stands up to clean the dirt. The eggs fall to the ground and break.

A small stone splits a big head.
