The Dog and the Rabbit
A hunting dog walked in the sunny forest. The dog saw a fast rabbit in the bushes. The rabbit got very scared and started to run. The fast dog soon reached the rabbit. First the dog licked the rabbit and smiled kindly.
Then it suddenly bit the rabbit and hurt it. Soon it came near again and kissed the rabbit. The confused rabbit looked at the dog with fear. It did not understand this strange game at all. At last the tired rabbit stopped and asked.
"Are you my friend or are you my enemy?" "Why do you bite me and then kiss me?" The dog gave no answer and felt ashamed. Never trust people with two faces. An open enemy is better than a secret friend.
