The Dog and His Shadow
One day a sweet dog got big meat from the butcher. The dog was very happy and took the meat in his mouth. He wanted to eat his tasty meat in a quiet place. He walked home with joy. On the way he came onto a small bridge.
A clean river ran under the bridge. The dog looked at the water and saw another dog there. That dog also held big meat in his mouth. The dog did not know his own shadow. "I want that meat too," he thought.
The greedy dog opened his mouth for the other meat. At that moment his meat fell into the river. The meat disappeared fast in the water. The dog stayed hungry and was very sad. Greedy hearts lose everything in their hands. Grasp all, lose all.
