The Doctor at the Funeral
Once a doctor lived in a small village. This doctor always talked like a wise man. One day an old man died in the village. The villagers were sad and made a funeral. The doctor also went to this funeral.
He came near the coffin and spoke loudly. "This man drank wine and no medicine," he said. "The medicine gives life," he added. The villagers were very surprised at these words. An old villager walked to the doctor.
"Oh doctor, talking now is very easy," he said. "Where were you in his sick days?" he asked. "Words after death help nobody," he said angrily. The doctor felt shame and went away quietly. Advice after the end helps nobody. Regret comes too late to help.
