The Dancing Monkeys

Once upon a time, in a distant kingdom where palaces with golden roofs rose, lived an old and curious king. In the gardens of this palace lived cute and intelligent monkeys brought from the depths of the forest. The king dreamed of training these monkeys like humans and presenting grand shows to the palace people. The country's master dance teachers spent months teaching these animals to dance with fine steps. Over time, the monkeys learned to wear fancy silk clothes and greet people with polite bows.

When the grand ball day arrived, the king's palace overflowed with glowing candelabras and fancy guests. The monkeys taking the stage began to display immense grace in their velvet dresses and necklaces. The nobles in the hall were applauding in astonishment, while the king smiled proudly. A visitor among the audience whispered, "Oh my God, they act just like trained humans!" However, a clever vizier standing behind the crowd knew very well that this fake appearance would not last long.

The vizier secretly threw a handful of fresh hazelnuts and walnuts from his cloak toward the middle of the stage. Delicious hard-shelled hazelnuts rolled on the gleaming marble floor, reaching in front of the dancing monkeys. The monkeys, who were listening to the music a moment ago, stopped one by one and began to look at the food on the ground. Seeing the food, the monkeys instantly forgot all the training and polite manners they had received. Eagerly tearing off their heavy silk dresses, the animals began to fight each other to grab the hazelnuts.

The fancy hall suddenly turned into complete chaos with screams, noises, and pieces of fabric flying in the air. As the king bowed his head in embarrassment, the guests realized that training fell short against the power of nature. Borrowed clothes and temporary training can never change the true character at a living being's core. What is bred in the bone will come out in the flesh.
