The Crow and the Raven
One day a black crow lived in a big forest. This crow was very jealous of the wise old raven. Because people listened to the raven and believed him. The crow wanted love and attention from people too. One morning the crow saw travellers on the road.
It flew to a high branch and cried out loudly. The crow cawed and spoke about the future. The travellers were afraid and stopped on the road. They believed it was the voice of the wise raven. An old traveller looked at the crow very carefully.
The man laughed and said, "This is only a crow." "The bird does not know the future, walk on." The travellers walked on and forgot the noisy crow. The crow felt very ashamed of this silly game. Copying another person only makes you look funny. Either seem as you are, or be as you seem.
