The Crow and the Dog
A black crow sat on a sunny branch. The crow put a gift on the green grass. He wanted to pray to the sky guardian. Near the tree, a dog watched the crow. The dog came closer and began to laugh.
The dog asked, "Why do you give this gift?" "He does not like your voice or color," he added. The crow looked at the dog and answered calmly. "I do it just for that," said the crow. "His anger will end and he will love me."
The dog heard these words and was very surprised. The dog saw his wisdom and his patience. The dog said nothing more and went away quietly. The crow left his gift and flew away happily. Hard work can win even the hardest hearts. Kind words open iron doors.
