The Creation of Man

Once upon a time, beyond the lush green valleys, at the top of a sacred mountain touching the sky, lived a wise master. This wise master loved taking moist soil and clear water drops to shape new living beings. One day, he gathered soft red mud from the riverbank and thought for a long time. He wanted to design a special creature that would run and play in the world, reason, and feel love. Shaping the mud in his hands with love, he began to knead the body of the first human with great care.

As the human figure gradually emerged from the mud, curious animals around gathered near the master. The proud lion of the forest stepped forward and asked the master with curiosity. "Will you give him strong claws and sharp teeth as powerful as mine?" The wise master smiled and said, "No, his greatest strength will be his sharp mind and merciful heart." The swift eagle soaring in the sky asked, "Well, will you give him huge wings to fly?" Giving the mud its final shape, the master looked at the eagle and replied, "He will fly high not with wings, but with his dreams."

But the human statue still stood motionless, looking at the sky with lifeless eyes. The wise master called upon all the forces of nature to give life to this beautiful shape. The wind blew a sweet breath, and the sun dried and revived the soil with its warm light. The statue suddenly took a deep breath and opened its eyes to life with love. When the first human stood up, he needed neither the claws of animals nor the wings of birds.

He looked around with kindness and promised to live peacefully with all living creatures in the world. The wise master felt proud to have placed the ability to think and love in the heart of this special creature he created. What makes a human valuable is not physical strength, but the mercy in their heart and the wisdom in their mind. By their fruits ye shall know them.
