The Birdcatcher and the Viper
One day an old birdcatcher enters the forest. He wants to catch birds in tall trees. He walks quietly with a big net. All day he watches the sky and treetops. He sees a black bird on a branch.
The birdcatcher is very excited and looks up. But he never looks down at the ground. A poisonous viper sleeps in the grass. The birdcatcher steps on the snake's tail. The snake gets angry and bites his foot.
The man falls down and cries with pain. He hunts birds, but now he is prey. The little bird flies far away. Eyes on the sky, danger on the ground. Remember: the hunter becomes the hunted.
