The Ant and the Beetle
A small ant works in the hot summer field. The ant collects wheat grains for the winter. A big beetle rests on a green leaf.
The beetle hates work and only plays games. He watches the busy ant and mocks her. The beetle asks, "Why do you work in this heat?" The ant answers, "I gather food for the winter."
The beetle laughs and goes back to his rest. The busy ant carries wheat home without a rest. Then the cold winter comes and snow covers everything. The lazy beetle is hungry and finds no food. The sad beetle goes to the ant's door and begs. The ant asks, "You played in summer. What now?" Still the ant pities him and gives him food.
