Heracles and Plutus
Strong Heracles went to the great sky palace. Now he lived beside the gods. Many famous gods stood in the palace. Heracles smiled at everyone and said hello. Then Plutus, the god of wealth, came in.
Heracles saw him and turned his head away. He frowned and gave him no greeting. Great Zeus was very surprised at this. Zeus asked Heracles the reason for this. Heracles turned to Zeus and answered him.
"On earth I watched Plutus closely," he said. Plutus always walked with bad and lying people. So Heracles never trusted him. Wealth with bad friends has no real value. Birds of a feather flock together.
